2020 Chamber’s Zykan Family Legacy Awardee

DIANA WEIDINGER was awarded the first ever ZYKAN FAMILY LEGACY AWARD. The Zykan Family Legacy Award was established to preserve the legacy of the Zykan Family and their contribution to the Greater North County Chamber and the North County community since 1955. This award was given to Mrs. Weidinger as she has demonstrated commitment through her time, talent, and treasure towards the North County community.

“Receiving the Zykan Legacy Award was so awesome and such a huge surprise! The Zykan family not only has meant a lot to our family but definitely the community. Thanks to the staff and the Board of Directors and the committee for this prestigious award,” stated Mrs. Weidinger.

Mrs. Weidinger has lived in Florissant for over 70 years with her husband John whom she has been married to for 59 years. They have 5 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Weidinger was the President of the Greater North County Chamber for 25 years. She has served her community well by serving in organizations that include: Sunrise Rotary Club, North County Inc., Christian Hospital Foundation, Florissant Parks & Recreation, Soroptimist International, and Florissant Old Town Partners.

Mrs. Weidinger has received numerous awards that include the prestigious National Association of Membership Directors Award for Excellence, and the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri, Top Level Award. Diana currently serves on the Board for TEAM Food Pantry.
