November for Renovations

The OMNIMAX® Theater will be temporarily closing for renovations on July 29 and reopening in the late fall.

The film projection system will be replaced with next-generation laser technology designed specifically for domed theaters – IMAX with Laser®. This laser creates the sharpest, brightest, clearest and most vivid digital images ever produced. This technology will allow the Center to deliver a wider array of digital content including feature-length films, documentaries and educational programming

Renovations will also include a state-of-the-art domed screen, wider seats and more accessible seating.

The last show will be July 28 and return in November.
