Florissant’s Music Under the Stars concerts continues on Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. at St. Ferdinand Park. The following is the upcoming schedule of concerts.

The St. Louis All Star Revue – Sunday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. The St. Louis All Star Revue is made up on some of St. Louis’ top singers and musicians.

Butch Wax & the Hollywoods, Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. The 10-piece band from St. Louis features three female singers, horns, and a rhythm section.

The Billy Peek Band – Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. Legendary Rock and Blues guitarist, most noted for seven years of playing with Rod Stewart.

The Florissant Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Doggie Pool Party at the Koch Park Family Aquatic Center, 315 Howdershell, on Friday, Aug. 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m.-noon. The cost per day is $10 for the dog and owner and $3 for each additional guest.

All dogs must wear an ID tag and be on a leash unless swimming. Dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations and recently bathed. DHLPP and rabies shots are required to swim. The records must be in written form, tags are not sufficient proof of vaccination. All individuals must sign a waiver form and cleanup after their own dog. For more information, call 839-7670.

Florissant Old Town Partners are seeking participants for Party in the Park on Saturday, Oct. 10 and the Florissant Old Town Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 11. Party in the Park will be at St. Ferdinand Park and will include a 5K run, children’s fishing tournament, and sports events. The Fall Festival will be held from noon-5 p.m.

Organizers are seeking participants for the flea market, craft fair, food and game booths, informational booths for not-for-profit organizations, commercial businesses, musicians and sponsorships.
