Taco Truck Shows up at Hazelwood Food Truck ‘Trunk for Treat’ Despite Robbery

locoz tacoz truck   The cold didn’t deter Hazelwood residents and others from attending Howdershell Park’s Food Truck or Treat on Oct. 27, nor did a robbery stop one of the food vendors from coming.

The event ran from 5 – 8 p.m and featured music from Shattered Edge. There were bounce houses, games and trunks propped open with candy for the children who came to “trunk or treat.”

Blues Fired Pizza, StLouisianaQ, and Destination Desserts. opened their trucks up promptly at 5. p.m. All profits from Destination Desserts went directly to head trauma patients.

Despite having two large propane tanks and a commercial burner stolen from the company just days prior to the event, Locoz Tacoz also made a presence and managed to serve their famous tacos.

go fund me   Tyler Garcia, operator of the Locoz Tacoz food truck, recently started a fundraiser on the website www.gofundme.com to help pay for the damages and replace what was lost during the thefts that took place on Oct. 24, (not in Hazelwood). The goal is $2000.
