Neighbors Credit Union Collection Benefits Marygrove Angels
Melissa Rakers, branch manager, delivers gifts for the Christmas Angels Program.
During the recent holidays, Neighbors Credit Union’s New Halls Ferry branch collected money to provide holiday gifts for the Child Center – Marygrove Christmas Angels Program. About 20 employees contributed to raise funds, which was used to purchase bedding, furniture, toys and games.
“The staff did an excellent job this year. They were so generous and giving with the holiday spirit,” stated branch manager Melissa Rakers, who had the honor of delivering the gifts.
Nov. 7 marked the start of the 2008 Christmas Angels Program. The Christmas Angel Tree is adorned with angel ornaments, including items that a child hopes to find under the tree on Christmas morning.
