MoDOT to Make Repairs on N. Hwy. 67 Weather Permitting

The Florissant mayor’s office has been receiving numerous complaints regarding the surface condition of N. Hwy. 67 and Patterson Road. These “bumps” are pavement flaws that are part of the resurfacing project being done by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

MoDOT has assured Mayor Robert Lowery’s office that these irregularities will be taken care of as weather permits and they will work diligently to correct the situation on business entrances.

“The second phase of the North Lindbergh Enhancement Project will be starting in early spring,” said Lowery. “This will be an extension of the sidewalks, streetlights, and landscaping from Charbonier to Coldwater Creek.”

Florissant received a federal reimbursement grant for the project. Louis Jearls, Jr., director of public works, and Scott Smith, city engineer, assisted the mayor in getting the funding.
