The U.S. Army and the St. Louis Rams NFL team named Keith Herring a Coach of the Week, based on nominations from his peers.

Herring is the head coach of the varsity football team of Hazelwood West High School. He earned the nomination in early fall and was presented with a certificate and a check for $2,000 in mid-November. The money will be used by the team.

Accepting a ceremonial check with Herring were Principal Joe Dobrinic and Tim Williams, athletic director, and representatives from the Army and the Rams.
