NorthPoint Hosts Groundbreaking For The First Building in Newly-acquired Hazelwood Logistics Center

   NorthPoint Development, a Kansas City-based developer, has acquired the Hazelwood Logistics Center industrial park in the City of Hazelwood, Construction on the first building began this week. The park, encompassing about 150 acres, is located along N. Lindbergh Blvd. across from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

The park is the site of the former Robertson community, annexed into the City of Hazelwood in the 1990s. The land was cleared of vacant houses and businesses and developed into an industrial park. It now contains one 405,000 square foot building which is home to TAGG Logistics and RGH Enterprises, Inc.

NorthPoint is moving forward with the park’s development by constructing a number of industrial buildings. These will then be leased to tenants looking to move, consolidate or expand their operations. The buildings will be designed to house primarily warehousing, distribution, logistics and light manufacturing operations.

The first building by NorthPoint will be located close to N. Lindbergh Blvd. and will be under construction starting this week. NorthPoint invited Hazelwood and regional community leaders to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the building. Held at the N. Lindbergh site on Oct. 27 . This event will celebrates NorthPoint’s commitment to Hazelwood Logistics Center and it future growth.
