Santa Parade Park Events
Santa’s elves have sent a text message. They want all residents living in the City of Hazelwood to know that Santa Claus will be making some visits to their hometown in December, courtesy of the Hazelwood Firefighters Community Outreach Program. He plans to make three stops in Hazelwood at the following locations: Dec. 6 – Howdershell Park, 6810 Howdershell Road (from 6-8 pm); Dec.11 – Musick Park, 8617 Latty Avenue (from 6-8 pm); and Dec. 20 – Queen Ann Park, Canisius & Erika (6-8 pm).
Santa will be listening to all the boys and girls giving him their Christmas wish lists and posing for photos with them. In addition, Hazelwood Firefighters will be on hand to provide hot chocolate and give out candy canes.
“For the past several years, Hazelwood Firefighters’ Santa Parade Program has become a popular holiday tradition in our city,” Hazelwood Mayor Matthew Robinson said. “We appreciate our Firefighters’ efforts to help those in need and to put smiles on kids’ faces when they parade Santa Claus through town.”
Although everyone is encouraged to come out and meet Santa Claus at the three different park events, the Hazelwood Firefighters still plan to take Santa on a brief parade in neighborhoods around the parks from 5-6 pm.
