New Halls Ferry Closures Begin July 16

Delayed by rain, the closures of New Florissant Road and New Halls Ferry Road in Florissant are finally underway. The temporary detours at I-270 will alter driving routes beginning Thursday, (July 16) following a near two-week delay

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) will repair the I-270 bridges that span the two roads simultaneously. New Florissant Road will be closed from Dunn Road to Jean Drive.

New Halls Ferry Road will be closed from Dunn Road to South Pershall Road. There will be no access from eastbound I-270 to the one-way outer road between New Halls Ferry Road and Old Halls Ferry Road. West Florissant will be still accessible during this
