Emerson surprised teachers at four local schools by announcing it will award them Emerson Gold Star Grants to fund projects in the classroom.  The grants, which are awarded annually through a competitive application process open to past recipients of the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award, will support a range of projects that would otherwise not have been funded.

This year’s winners include 10 teachers from O’Fallon Township High School, McCluer High School, Bermuda Elementary, and South Technical High School.
