Some attractions and habitats, including the Emerson Zooline Railroad and River’s Edge area of the Zoo will be closed Monday, but should reopen later this week. The Mary Ann Lee Butterfly Wing will be closed as we work to repair several of the dome’s panels damaged by the storm.
Despite extensive tree damage, the Zoo was able to reopen so quickly thanks to the incredible work of Zoo staff on cleanup efforts and repairs after the storm. Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who lost loved ones or are working to rebuild and recover. We’ve been moved to see the true resilience and kindness of our neighbors in the wake of the storm.
