Additional principal casting has been announced for The Muny’s 97th season, which begins June 15. The Muny box office in Forest Park will have single tickets going on sale starting Saturday, May 30.
The Muny 2015 summer season is its 97th summer season in Forest Park. The exciting line-up includes 3 Muny premieres. The seven shows are: My Fair Lady (June 15 – June 21), Hairspray (June 23 – June 30), Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn (July 6 – 12), Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story (July 13 –19), Into The Woods (July 21 –27), Disney’s Beauty and The Beast (July 29 – Aug. 7), and Oklahoma! My Fair Lady, which runs June 15-21, will be led by Anthony Andrews (Henry Higgins), Alexandra Silber (Eliza Doolittle) and Michael Mccormick (Alfred P. Doolittle).
The Tony-winning musical Hairspray, running June 23-30, stars Bryan Batt (Edna Turnblad), Ryann Redmond (Tracy Turnblad), Christopher J. Hanke (Corny Collins) and Liz Mikel.
Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn, which runs July 6-12, will feature Patti Murin (Linda Mason), Colin Donnell (Jim Hardy), Noah Racey (Ted Hanover) and Nancy Opel (Louise Badger).
Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story will play July 13-19 with a cast led by Andy Christopher (Buddy Holly) and John Scherer (Hipockets Duncan).
Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods will be presented July 21-27. Tony winner Heather Headley will head the cast as the Witch, with Erin Dilly (Baker’s Wife), Ken Page (Narrator), Andrew Samonsky (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf) and Ryan Silverman (Rapunzel’s Prince).
Disney’s Beauty And The Beast, which will run July 29-August 7, will feature Kate Rockwell (Belle) and Nicholas Rodriguez (Beast) in the leading roles.
The season concludes August 10-16 with the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Oklahoma! featuring Ben Davis (Curly), Christine Cornish Smith (Laurey), Alexander Gemignani (Jud Fry) and Beth Leavel (Aunt Eller).
