IWA Girls Basketball is trying to be the second team at the school to win three straight titles. Girls Volleyball won five straight from 1982 to 1986 and three-peated 2003-2005. IWA won three out of four in 1993, 1994 and 1996.

Girls Basketball has won six titles since 1995 but won five of them since 2006 and since 2010 has won four titles, two in Class Five (2010, 2011) and the last two in Class Four. The only blemish in the last five years took place in 2012 where Columbia-Rock Bridge defeated IWA in the Class Five Semifinal and the Red Knights ended up settling for third place. Since then IWA has not lost a game to a Missouri high school and defeated Rock Bridge Feb. 7 in the Webster Groves Winter Challenge championship game, 53-50 in overtime while Rock Bridge has won three consecutive Class Five State titles and is seeking a four-peat.
