Ferguson Signs of Hope Calendars Available

signs of hope copyFerguson Signs of Hope 2015 wall calendars are on sale now for $15 (two or more for $13). The 8.5 by 11 inch calendar features images of the paintings on boarded-up windows in the city. Sales of the calendar support the Ferguson Community Development Fund. The fund is a community initiative to help businesses, employees, and other rebuild in Ferguson.

The fund was created through The Vine, a program through St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Ferguson. The Vine has worked since 2005 to engage community building and collaboration in Ferguson through music, food, and youth programming. The Vine is working with ONE Ferguson to support children, commerce and the community.

“The outpouring of kindness toward Ferguson these past several months is nothing short of spectacular,” said St. Stephen’s Father Steve Lawler. “The most recent visible sign of people coming together and caring has been the hours and talent lent to creating beautiful murals on what would otherwise be ugly, depressing boards on dozens of businesses in Ferguson. This calendar is a way to share these works of art with as many people as we could as quickly as we could while raising funds to continue what will be a long journey of recovery.”

Currently the calendar is only available online at www.yearbox.com/calendarsforgood/signs-of-hope-2015-calendar/

Donations to the Ferguson Community Development Fund are accepted through its gofundme campaign at www.gofundme.com/the_vine_ferguson.
