City of Florissant’s Thanksgiving Holiday Special ‘Click, Clack, Moo’
The City of Florissant’s Thanksgiving Holiday Special will bring to life on stage Click, Clack, Moo; a new musical from TheatreworksUSA, NY, NY.
All day long Farmer Brown hears “click clack moo, clickety clackety moo…” The cows are typing and protesting their working conditions! Click, Clack, Moo is a hilariously “moo-ving” new musical about compromise based on the Caldecott Award-winning book by Doreen Cronin with pictures by Betsy Lewin.
After a brief New York City-area tour in spring 2009, Click, Clack, Moo performed at Off-Broadway’s Lucille Lortel Theatre under the auspices of Theatreworks USA’s Free Summer Theatre program in summer 2009. It received Lucille Lortel Award nominations for “Outstanding Musical” and “Outstanding Choreography,” and a Drama Desk Nomination for “Outstanding Lyrics.” The show began its national tour in fall 2009.
Presented by the Junior League of St. Louis and the Florissant Civic Center Theatre, performances of Click, Clack, Moo will be at the Florissant Civic Center Theatre, Parker Road at Waterford Drive, on Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. Admission is $5.25.
