Jamestown Bluff Library Branch to Hold Breast Health Programs

The Jamestown Bluffs Branch of St. Louis County Library will focus attention on breast health during October. The branch is located at 4153 N. Hwy 67, Florissant, MO 63034. Registration is required.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the branch will host a Pink Party beginning at 2 p.m. The party will include information about breast cancer, including early detection, treatment options and holistic approaches. Breast cancer survivors are particularly welcome as well as those now facing cancer challenges. Refreshments and attendance prizes will be distributed. The Siteman Cancer Center’s Mammography Van will visit the branch’s parking lot on Monday, October 20, beginning at 9 a.m. The library will offer refreshments and additional information in the auditorium during the van’s visit. Registration is required; call 314 747-7222.
