Miss Hazelwood Crowned

Briana Barr, a Hazelwood West High School junior who was selected as Miss Hazelwood 2014 at Harvestfest on Sept. 13. Her sponsor was Sue Young Hong, DDS. Briana is very active in sports. She plays Varsity Volleyball in the Fall and Varsity Lacrosse in the spring. During the winter season, she manages the girl’s basketball team and plays select volleyball for the North County Aces. She also enjoys participating in Special Olympic, Student Council, Pep Club, Freshman Orientation, and many other activities that benefit her community. During the summer, she worked as a lifeguard at Hazelwood’s Aquatic Center.
