The much anticipated Culver’s restaurant in Florissant is coming soon, Mayor Tom Schneider said after the council meeting Monday.

“There should be a ‘coming soon’ sign up soon” at the site of the restaurant, Schneider said. The restaurant is going in at the Northwest corner of St. Ferdinand and Lindbergh, near St. Ferdinand Park. The space was formerly part of Marty Cancila Auto.

Schneider said the anticipated ground breaking date was July 1, with the restaurant opening in the fall. He added that he had received several calls from residents asking about the restaurant. “People are really excited about this,” he said.

City Economic Development Director Bob Russell noted that more details would be available when the restaurant presents the site plan to the council.
