• On Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m.-noon, there will be a St. Louis County Skywarn program held at the James J. Eagan Civic Center Theater.  This program will train citizens volunteers to be severe weather observers.  The training is free.

• On Sunday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., during the Florissant Fall Festival, the Missouri Free Masons will offer the child ID program called, MOCHIP.

This program includes digital fingerprints and photographs, a DNA swab, a dental impression along with other vital emergency contact information, free of charge, to any parent or legal guardian.  The event will be held at the Florissant City Hall Council Chambers.
