Fred Leibel, Village North Health Center fellow resident, sang Happy Birthday in German to a very happy Dorothy Walsh, age 104.

Dorothy Walsh was serenaded with Happy Birthday for the 104^th time on Dec. 4. This resident of Village North Health Center celebrated her 104^th birthday in style, with a birthday cake, presents and a lunch in the elegant dining room of Village North Retirement Center.

A fellow resident, Fred Leibel, entertained all by singing the birthday song in German to her.

When asked how she achieved having so many birthdays, Walsh wasn’t sure. “It must be from eating chocolates and caffeine,” replied her friend, “because she is very fond of both. That and coffeecake every morning – that’s her ritual.”
