GNC Chamber & City of Florissant to host Business Showcase, ‘Taste of North County’
The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Florissant will co-sponsor the 26th Anniversary of the Chamber’s Business Showcase, featuring a “Taste of North County,” on Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the James J. Eagan Community Center in Florissant.
The public is invited to attend the event to learn more about the products and services that the 60 vendors offer to the community. Special features will include a Kids Korner with activities for children, a visit from Ronald McDonald, and health screenings. Admission is free to the Business Showcase.
Presenting Sponsors are Christian Hospital and Schnucks Markets, Inc. The Booth Sponsor is DeSmet Retirement Community; the Kids Korner Sponsor is ASA Christian Academy; the Breakfast Sponsor is Charter Business; the Program Sponsor is Community News; and the Sign Sponsor is Hazelwood School District.
An area of the community center will be roped off for the “Taste of North County.” It will showcase fare from local venues including Catering To You Banquet Center, Cornerstone Bakery, Deaver’s Sports Bar Restaurant, Helfer’s Deli, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Popportunities, Ribshack, and TGI Fridays.
For a nominal fee of $5 for adults, $2 for children under 12, the public will be able to sample some of the great cuisine available in North County.
