The Florissant Parks and Recreation Department invites residents to start the new year out right by offering a free resident fitness preview event on Saturday, Jan. 4, from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. The event will be held at the James J. Eagan Center. All activities except for the ice rink will be free to Florissant residents with a current resident card.

Residents can use the fitness center, go for a swim, or try out some fitness classes, all for free.

Registration for future classes will be available. A detailed schedule of classes and activities for the day will be released closer to the event.

The city will also offer fitness assessments from 9 a.m. – noon. These assessments cost $50 and an appointment is preferred. Contact 1 on 1 Fitness Training via email at mytrainerstl@yahoo.com or by phone at 314-749-5853 to make an appointment.
