NCCS Crusaders Serve Day Success for School, Hungry

Students at North County Christian School (NCCS) were very busy Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, packing and sealing over 10,000 meals for hungry children in Jamaica or Haiti and for families in the local area.  The 10,000 meals were sent overseas and another 240 were taken to local food banks in the St. Louis area along with canned goods that were collected by the students.

Florissant Mayor Tom Schneider stopped by to see how students from NCCS were serving together to feed the hungry. The students personally made a difference by participating in this one-day Packing Event and learning about the problem of world hunger – then participating in the solution. The school thanks all in the community who supported this event.
