SSM DePaul Announces November Programs

SSM DePaul Health Center offers the following programs in November.

Public Flu Clinic. Saturday, Nov. 2, 8 a.m. – noon at May Center at SSM DePaul Health Center. Free immunizations for ages 9 and up (injection only). Call 1-866-SSM-DOCS for an appointment; walk-ins also welcome.

Heart Health Screening, Wednesday, Nov. 13, 8 – 11 a.m. at SSM DePaul Health Center, main entrance. Join us for a fasting heart health screening that provides your total cholesterol, HDL & LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, BMI and body fat, blood glucose, and blood pressure, all for $20. Call 1-866-SSM-DOCS to register.

AARP Driver Safety Program. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at SSM DePaul Health Center. A classroom course to refresh driving skills and develop safe driving techniques for drivers 50 years and up. No written driving test. $12 for AARP members (with AARP card), $14 for non-members. Look Good…Feel Better. SSM Cancer Care at DePaul Health Center. Attend a  makeup session sponsored by the American Cancer Society. A licensed cosmetologist teaches scarf tying, shows hats, and provides each participant with a makeup kit donated by the Cosmetics and Fragrance Industry. All of this is in a private setting to help women to look good and feel better, and to feel more like themselves. Light refreshments are served.
