Regions Bank on Shackelford Robbed; Police Release Suspect’s Photo, Ask for Help Identifying Suspect

The Region’s Bank, located at 1100 Shackelford, was robbed at approximately 12:54pm on Thursday, May 9. These are photos of the person suspected of the crime, as provided by the Florissant Police Department.

A lone male suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and announced the robbery to the bank tellers. The suspect used his hand to cover a portion of his face during the robbery. The suspect fled on foot southbound on Shackelford with an undetermined amount of currency. No one was hurt during the incident.

The suspect was described as a black male, medium build, in his 20s, approximately 5’6”-5’8” tall with short cut hair. The suspect was wearing a dark colored coat, a coral or pink colored dress shirt, and a tie with white stripes. The suspect had a black bag hanging from his shoulder.  The suspect had glasses on at the time of the robbery and was carrying an umbrella.
