Parks and Recreation Dept. Having Server Problems

Parks Dept. Server Down Until Aug. 29

On Friday, Aug. 12, the Parks and Recreation Department’s network server experienced a hardware failure, which caused the Department’s reservation, registration, and membership processing system to become inoperative.

Registration for the fall classes and programs is currently being accepted and processed manually. Payment must be cash, check, or money order.

The Department expects the system to be up Monday, Aug. 29. Beginning on this date, anyone can present their card to the customer service staff at either the James J. Eagan Civic Center or the J.F.K. Community Center to obtain a new card. Also on Aug. 29, staff will accept and process requests for facility reservations.
