NCCS Baseball Top Seed In MCSAA State Tourney, Seeks Title Repeat

North County Christian School Baseball will be defending their Missouri Christian State Athletic Association title as the top seed in this year’s State Tournament, May 3-4 in Joplin.

With a seven-team field NCCS gets a first round bye and plays in a May 3 Semifinal game, 11 a.m. against the winner of the May 2, 1 p.m. game between Crosspoint and Plaza Heights. On May 4 the winner plays for the championship at 11 a.m. while the loser plays for third place at 9 a.m. Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, Tower Grove Christian, Eagle Ridge and Tri-City completes the seven-team field, one will play for the title and the other for third place.

BOYS GOLF — With five returning from last years MCSAA championship team, NCCS returns to Joplin May 1-4 in an attempt to repeat. All five finished in the top 10 last year including Tommy Shults (third), Brendan Farmer (fifth), Ben Farmer (sixth), Ryan Hickerson (eighth) and Billy Freeman (10th).
