GNC Chamber & Florissant to Host Business Fair, ‘Taste of North County’

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Florissant will co-sponsor the 25th Anniversary of the Chamber’s Business Showcase, featuring a Taste of North County on Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the James J. Eagan Community Center in Florissant.

Local businesses and organizations will display the products and services they offer to the community .  Health screenings also will be available. There is no charge to attend the Business Showcase.

This year’s presenting sponsors are Christian Hospital, Delmar Gardens North & Garden Villas North and Schnucks Markets.

New this year is the “Taste of North County,” featuring local restaurants. An area of the community center will be roped off for this event. For a nominal fee of $5 for adults, $2 for children under 12, visitors will be able to sample some of the great cuisine available in North County.

Participating restaurants to date include Catering to You, Cornerstone Bakery, Cugino’s Restaurant, DeLeo’s Café & Deli, Hendel’s Market Café, Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza, Pirrone’s Pizzeria, The Rice House, and Yacovelli’s Restaurant & Banquet Center.

The City of Florissant that day also will open its pool and game room to anyone (resident or non-resident) who attends the event for the cost of a resident’s fee only.

The chamber is seeking vendors for both the Business Showcase and the “Taste of North County.” The event is open to both Chamber members and non-members.
