Enrollment Begins March 1 For Ferguson-Florissant School District’s Free Preschool Program

All three- and four-year-olds residing in the District are eligible to enroll 

Enrollment begins this Friday, March 1 for free preschool for three- and four-year-old children residing in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Families are encouraged to enroll early as spaces in the program are limited.

Children who will be three years old by July 31, 2013 are eligible to enroll in preschool offered two mornings a week from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Children who will be four years old by July 31, 2013 have two pre-kindergarten options: They can attend three mornings a week from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., or four afternoons a week from 12:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Full-day options in programs with separate eligibility and fee systems also available through the District include Child Development Centers located at McCluer High School and at the Administration Center, Head Start at McCluer South-Berkeley and Griffith Elementary School and a special program for families living in the Airport Elementary School attendance area.

Completed enrollment forms and required documentation should be brought to the early education office in the E wing of the Ferguson-Florissant School District Administration Center located at 1005 Waterford Drive in Florissant beginning March 1. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., with later or earlier times available by appointment only.
