Hazelwood Central Band to Play for Salvation Army

Hazelwood Central Middle students join the Salvation Army to make a difference through music for the fifth consecutive year. The band will join the Salvation Army bell ringers for the Tree of Lights Campaign to raise money for those less fortunate.. The group will be playing outside of Dierbergs, located at 222 N. Lindbergh in Florissant, on Wednesdays, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 from 2-4 p.m. The holiday band performing currently has more than 20 active members, who will be playing alongside Hazelwood Central Middle students.  The HCMS band is under the direction of Tom Schwartz and assisted by Robert Hartley, HCMS sixth grade counselor.
