Relay for Life of North St. Louis County. 6 p.m. – 6 a.m., Hazelwood Central High School. Join The American Cancer Society to support cancer research. Each dollar you raise will help save lives. This is your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember people we have lost, but also to raise funds and awareness to help save lives. St. Mark’s Fashions for Food clothing sale, 315 Graham Road, 8:30-11 a.m. All proceeds go to local food pantries. Sale is held on the second Thursday of each month. (972-7838)

Saturday, Aug. 11

A Free electronic and appliance Recycling Event will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on the parking lot of Trinity Catholic High School, 1720 Redman in Spanish Lake. Any item with a cord or that takes batteries will be accepted. This event is sponsored by the Spanish Lake Community Association. Just drive up and all items will be removed from your vehicle.
