At the Florissant City Council  meeting Monday, Mayor Tom Schneider thanked all the residents and businesses who have offered help and monetary donations to Police Officer Mike Vernon and his family.

Schneider thanked Joe’s Pub, Salon 67 and Cugino’s for organizing fund raisers for Vernon. He thanked the community for offering good wishes, prayers, and donations to Vernon and said the police officer was touched by the outpouring of support he had received.

Monetary donations can be sent to the Florissant Police Welfare Association, in c/o Officer Mike Vernon, 1700 N. Hwy 67, Florissant, MO 63031.
