Berthold Named 2012 Chairwoman Of the GNC Board of Directors
Julie Berthold, co-owner of Berthold Carpet Cleaning, has been named the chairwoman of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2012.
Berthold, 44, will be inducted at the Chamber’s Outstanding Business Person of the Year and Annual Installation Dinner on Friday, April 13, beginning at 6 p.m. at Norwood Hills Country Club. (see story on Business Person of the Year on next page)
She currently serves as the chamber’s vice chairwoman of the board of directors and is chairing the chamber’s 24th Annual Business Showcase, “Sample North County.” on March 31 at Jamestown Mall. She has been an active member of the chamber for eight years, serving on the board for three years, co-chairing the 2010 Nite of Stars and chairing the 2011 Nite of Stars.
Berthold has worked in the healthcare field for 21 years, most recently at Gardens Villas North. She lives in Florissant with her husband of 18 years, Matt Berthold.
“My goals for this year are to continue the growth of the Chamber and encourage members to take advantage of the many benefits available to them by belonging to this great organization,” Berthold said.
Cost to attend the Outstanding Business Person of the Year and Annual Installation Dinner is $45 per person.
