Do you know a veteran who is a resident of Florissant? The St. Louis County Veterans Coalition is seeking nominations for the Veteran of the Year.

Nomination forms are available at the Florissant Police Department, all city offices, and the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce. Completed forms should be mailed or delivered to the police department no later than July 31.

Presentation will be made at the James J. Eagan Center following the Veterans Parade on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Th eighth annual Veterans Parade is in the early planning stage. The coalition is requesting parade participation from local business, civic and charitable organizations, youth groups, and other groups.
