Northwest Concert Band to Play Pops Concert at Civic Center May 7
Northwinds Concert Band, under the direction of Larry Marsh, will present Saturday Night at the Pops on Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Florissant Civic Center Theatre.
The concert will feature music from Broadway and the movies, big band favorites, a new arrangement of Irish dance music, and a tribute to a soldier. “Ike” Eichenberger and Theresa Dobson will sing and Hadley Haux will be featured on Euphonium.
Larry Marsh, who has directed the band for 29 years, says, “This should be a great concert. We think our audiences will love the music and it will be a great way to cap off a fun day at the Valley of Flowers Festival. There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned band concert!”
