Cancer Society Bark For Life Canine Walk April 16

The American Cancer Society will hold its Inaugural Bark For Life Canine event, a walk to honor the care-giving qualities of canine companions.

Dogs and their human companions are invited to Love Park, located at 2238 Mason Lane in Manchester, on April 16 to celebrate cancer survivorship, honor people lost to cancer, and to raise funds to help support the Society’s vision to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

“Canine companions represent unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of human abilities or appearances,” says Anne Houchin chairman of Bark For Life. “The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is an irresistible way to ‘take a bite out of cancer’, smile, and make new friends – canine & human.”

Registration is $25 per dog. To register, visit www.relayforlife.org/barkwestcountymo”relayforlife.org/barkwestcountymo. For more information on about the event, sponsorship or volunteer opportunities, contact Anne Houchin at barkforlifestl@hotmail.com.
