More than 300 Florissant residents turned out for the Greater North County Chamber’s Candidates Forum Wednesday (March 9) at the JFK Center featuring all six candidates for mayor of Florissant.  Councilmen Tom Schneider and Andrew Podleski, Hazelwood School Board director Mark Behlmann, former councilmembers Bob Garrett and Sue Geerling, and former state representative Michael Spreng answered questions from residents who wrote them out on cards. The League of Women Voters moderated in the event and keep everyone within the time limits. (more on the forum and the candidate in the next issue of The Independent News)
