Leo Ganahl, the first male elementary school teacher in the school district to receive the award. Ganahl is a third-grader teacher at Bermuda Elementary School. He is a product of the Ferguson-Florissant District having attended Griffith Elementary and graduated from McCluer High School. He lives in the district. Ganahl earned his bachelor’s teaching degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a master’s degree from Lindenwood University. Bermuda Principle Alice Aldridge describes Ganahl as a a very dedicated and hard working teacher who strongly believes in the power of working together to reach goals.”
