Win Sunday at Arizona Would Put Rams at .500, A Likely Division Winning Percentage

It was great to see the St. Louis Rams hang on and pull out a tough victory in Denver; a place that myself and probably 90% of others felt the team had no chance at all to win.

The Rams almost gave it up at the end but held on and showed everyone that they might be a playoff team in this weak division.  I bet it was a happy plane ride home for this team from the Mile High City after they hadn’t won a road game in a long time.

Maybe all of the extra effort like sleeping in the hyperbolic chambers helped this team because they looked really good and confident. With a win this week, the Rams would go to .500 late in the season. How about that? Again, at the beginning of the year, if you said that the Rams would be at .500 this late, we would be ecstatic, we should be.

How about all of the controversy surrounding Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Derek Anderson after the Monday Night Football game? The 49ers were pounding the Cardinals and the cameras caught Anderson on the sidelines laughing. How do you feel about this?

I see both sides of it. From the fans side of things you never want to see your player laughing when they are getting pounded. It just shows that maybe they don’t care as much as the fans and of course they think they don’t care about the game only the money.

From the player’s standpoint, the camera was on them for just one  minute out of the game, maybe they were laughing about a crazy play in the game or whatever. It was just one snapshot of the game.

After the game, when asked by the media, Anderson blew up. I think if he would have just gave a straight answer about it, it would all be over but now it is a national story and I am sure that cameramen all over the NFL will be looking for that laughing losing shot every week now.
