Florissant has awarded some bridge repair work to The Harlan Company. Mainly concrete repairs will be made to a majority of the city’s 17 bridges, Mayor Robert Lowery has announced. Work will include removal of overgrowth around each corner of these bridges.

The following bridges are scheduled for maintenance work this year: South Duchesne Drive Bridge, Florissant Park Drive Bridge, rue St. Francois Bridge, rue St. Denis Drive Bridges, Lafayette Street Bridge, Torero Lane Bridge, Cobblestone Creek Bridge, Loveland Drive Bridge, and Greeley Drive Bridge.

The contract amount for the Miscellaneous Bridge Repair work is $39,000.00.  The Public Works Department, Engineering Division, is responsible for assuring the quality of bridge replacement projects through design and construction.
