Mayor Robert G. Lowery announced that Florissant has joined The Emergency Assistance Ministry (TEAM)’s drive for non-perishable food items to be donated now until Nov. 17.
The City will have four drop off sites: The Florissant Police Department (North Highway 67 and North New Florissant Road), the James J. Eagan Center (Waterford & Parker Road), the John F. Kennedy Center (Howdershell & Charbonier) and the TEAM office at 265 St. Catherine.
Mayor Lowery said, “I implore you to please gather and purchase as much food as possible for the needy so that they and their family can have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas.”
If you have donations and cannot get to one of the drop off sites, contact the Mayor’s office at 314-839-7601 and a volunteer will pick them up and deliver them to TEAM.
