Hazelwood West, Trinity Catholic and Lutheran North are among the 48 top seeds in Boys Soccer District Tournaments, 16 per class among three classes

Hazelwood West will be in Class Three, District Seven at Florissant Civic Center grounds and will play Nov. 2 at 6:30 against McCluer after tourney host McCluer North has a 4:30 game against Hazelwood Central. The  winners  play for the district title Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.

Trinity Catholic will host Class Two, District Three and will play Nov. 2, against the winner of the Nov. 1, 4:30 Miller Career Academy-Vashon while earlier on Nov. 2 Soldan International Studies plays at 4:30 against Gateway Tech. The Nov. 2 winners are scheduled to play for the district title Nov. 3 at 6:30 but the game may be moved to another date, if Trinity’s football team has a Class Three home regional game

Lutheran North will host Class One, District Three and will open against Metro with McKinley Classical Leadership in one of two games that will be played Nov. 1 at 4 p.m., the other pitting Crossroads College Preparatory against North County Tech. The two winners play for the district title at 4 p.m. District winners advance to the sectional round Nov. 9 .

CROSS COUNTRY— McCluer North and Hazelwood West Boys team and the Incarnate Word Academy Girls Team will compete in Class Four, Sectional Two at McNair Park, St. Charles, Oct. 30. Also advancing are William Mitchell, LaQuinton Battle and Ka’Ron Adams, Hazelwood Central Boys, along with Girls runners Adekemi Omoloja, Hazelwood West, Jasmine Lucas, Hazelwood East, and Anna Beckemeyer, McCluer North. Stewart Nicolas, McCluer North, won the Class Four, District Three Boys (16:46).

The top four teams, boys and girls, and runners in the top 30 advance to State, Nov. 6, in Jefferson City. Lutheran North will host Class Two, District Two, a 10-team meet Oct. 30 at Spanish Lake Park.
