Hazelwood Central High School homecoming set for October 9

Hazelwood Central High School will celebrate homecoming with students and families on Saturday, October 9 with a parade, a festival, a varsity football game and school dance. Hazelwood Central’s homecoming parade and Fall Festival both begin at 9:00 a.m. The parade starts at Patterson and Humes Road in the Nagle’s parking lot, and continues along Patterson to New Halls Ferry Road and ends at the school.

The parade will feature the 2010 Homecoming Court represented by freshman Maya Jones, sophomore Jaymiee Sheppard-Johnson, junior Kayla Ray and seniors Janay Altemus, Diamond Conner, Jacqueline Thai and Tatiana Williams.

The Fall Festival includes games and prizes sponsored by school clubs and organizations. The festival will take place in the parking lot near the Hazelwood Central football stadium, and will end at 12:30 p.m.

The Hawks play against McCluer High School at 1:00 p.m. at the varsity football game and the homecoming dance is at 7:00 p.m. Game tickets are $4.
