Black Jack Mayor Norman McCourt elected VP of Missouri Municipal League

Mayor Norman McCourt of Black Jack was elected vice president of the Missouri Municipal League (MML) during its 76th Annual Conference held September 12-15 in St. Charles.

McCourt was first elected to the MML board of directors in 2006. Mayor McCourt has served as chairman of the League’s technology committee since 2008 and will serve as chairman of the League’s budget committee this coming year. He has been actively involved in many of the League’s regional meetings, conferences, and legislative efforts.

The Missouri Municipal League is a nonpartisan, voluntary association serving 660 municipalities. In addition to serving as a strong voice for Missouri’s municipalities, MML provides training, information sharing, legislative assistance, advocacy and administrative support for local officials across the state.  For more information, visit www.mocities.com.
