Old St. Ferdinand Shrine Hosts History Day July 10 Flea Market, Book Sale, Mark Twain

Old St. Ferdinand Shrine will be hosting a History Day on Saturday,  July 10.  History Day is to let people  experience the Shrine and its importance in the settling of the North County area.  Activities include:

Tours of the Shrine, Native American display and crafts, The  Living History Reenactors to learn about life as it once was, Speech by Mark Twain 2 p.m., a Flea Market, Book Sale – $4 per bag. Also food including pork sandwiches, salad, fruit and drinks.

The dedication of the Shrine’s  Memorial Brick Garden will take place at 1 p.m. The Flea Market and special Book Sale will be from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.  on the second floor of the Schoolhouse The Flea Market will be outside on the grounds.

All other activities listed above  will be from 10-5.
