Trinity Catholic High Advances In Engineering & Science Contest

Trinity Catholic High School took first place in the Small School Division at the Academic Challenge Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering contest at McKendree University.

The team  advances to the Sectionals at Florissant Valley Community College on March 4.

Winning individual awards:

Seniors Alana Schlemmer 1st Chemistry, 3rd in Math; Ryan Mircsov 1st Engineering Graphics, 3rd Chemistry; Tim Fries 1st Engineering Graphics, 3rd Computer Science; Matt Juengst 3rd Chemistry; and Ben Batzer (1st English);

Juniors David Krafft (2nd Engineering Graphics, 3rd Physics), Amanda Lewandowski (2nd English), Ellen Hilmes (2nd Math), Brett Turnbough  (3rd Physics) and Ed Ross (2nd Physics);

Sophomores Connor Walsh (1st Computer Science and 2nd in Chemistry) and Rachel Hunt f (3rd in Math)

Freshmen Mike Taylor (3rd in Biology) and Anna Duban (3rd in English).
