Florissant Celebrates U.S A 250^th Birthday

July 4 with a ceremony, concert, fireworks

Florissant will observe the United States’ 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026, with a ceremony, concert, fireworks and community fundraising programs at the Eagan Center, city officials and local volunteers said on the mayor’s podcast.

Organizers said the on-site ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and include a color guard, the Pledge of Allegiance, a mayoral proclamation, a wreath-laying and the national anthem. The concert, headlined by local act Trixie Delight, will start at 7:15 p.m. and run about two hours, followed by a fireworks display launched from the
