Swim Event June 26 at 4 Locations

16th annual World’s Largest Swim

Lesson included North County Rec.

St. Louis County Parks and Recreation will join aquatic facilities around the world on Thursday, June 26, 2025, or the 16th annual World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL)—a global event promoting water safety and the importance of swim instruction for children.

The WLSL is an annual event designed to raise awareness about swimming

instruction as a key part of staying safe around the water. Swimming lessons help

build skills and confidence in and around pools, lakes, and other aquatic

environments.

Four St. Louis County Recreation Facilities will host free, beginner-friendly group

swim lessons throughout the day for children aged 3 to 12 years old. The first 20

participants at each location will receive a goodie bag.

o 8 to 9 a.m.

  • Kennedy Recreation Complex (6050 Wells Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128)

o 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

  • St. Vincent Community Center (7335 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO

63121)

o 11 a.m. to Noon

  • North County Recreation Complex (2577 Redman Ave, St. Louis, MO 63136)

o Noon to 1 p.m.
