This year’s theme is “Mary, Mary, Quite contrary, How Does Your Garden Grow?” This theme honors the legacy of our dear friend, Mary Gettemeier.

A plaque dedication for Mary Gettemeier will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, at 10:00 am on the corner of St Francois St. and St Charles St. The beloved Florissant Old Town Partners Car Show will take place on Saturday, May 3rd on St. Francois St.

There will be fun and entertainment for the whole family throughout the weekend. Events include: live music by local bands, a craft and vendor fair, bounce houses, a skate culture exhibit, Touch-a-truck, a petting zoo, an E-sports tournament, and a live demonstration from our very own Florissant Valley Fire Protection District.

Grand Parade is Sunday, May 4th at 1:45 starting at the James J. Eagan Center, going down Parker Rd, turning left on New Florissant, right on St. Francois, left on St. Ferdinand, then finally ending at the grounds on Washington St.

The Queen Crowning Ceremony will be Sunday, May 4th at 4:00 pm at the Duchesne Home Association Grounds.

Thank you so much to all of our volunteers, and most importantly, a huge thank you to the Valley of Flowers Festival Committee, who work so hard year-round to ensure this Festival happens every year.
